Services and assistance provided through the office of the Upazila Rural Development Officer (URDO) at the Upazila level:

Forming associations/groups (male/female), advising on taking loans and providing all related information forms;

Helping members to build their own capital by collecting shares and savings deposits;

Samityre members for agricultural produce and agricultural inputs (fertilizers, seeds, pesticides and irrigation equipment) on easy terms.

Disbursement of loans, (a) agricultural loans through Sonali Bank and (b) revolving agricultural loans;

Formation of informal groups under various projects/programmes and provision of loans for productive and income generating activities;

Loans are issued to members immediately after the registration of the formal association and 8 (eight) weeks after the formation of the informal group:

Facilitating the marketing of crops produced by the cooperatives and assisting them in obtaining fair prices;

Awareness raising on women empowerment and women leadership development, prevention of violence against women and elimination of dowry system

Assist in creation;
